This actress became a sensation, after her debut film in a Malayalam cult blockbuster film. Post that she went on to act in many Telugu movies as well. Currently, she is gearing up for her Tamil debut. A thriller, which revolves around the sentiments of a mother and her child. 

Now, the rumour has it that, she has turned down an offer when a director has approached her with a script. Even when the director has tried to get her on board with promising her that, the male lead will be a leading young actor, and hiked salary. When questioned why, she has apparently stated that she agrees to do a film only if she is impressed with the story.
