The Sunday episode of the show that has entered into its second week, witnessed its first eviction. Followed by Shree, who had to leave on health grounds, actress Anuya was evicted after garnering the least number of votes among those nominated, which also included Juliana. However, the eviction was no surprise, especially for those who are familiar with the Hindi version of the show, in which the most passive contestant is the first one to be shown the door.
After being evicted, Anuya was asked by the show’s host, Kamal Haasan, to give each of the contestants a title based on their characteristics. Interestingly, she called captain Snehan "a bag of lies" and Gayathri a "villain". Many members of the audience seemed to agree with her choice of titles. She described her stay in the Bigg Boss house as "suffocating" because of the feeling of being watched 24/7.
Kamal Haasan also pulled up Ganja Karuppu, who lost his temper and on the verge of physically abusing Bharani. The duo had got into an argument over cleaning responsibilities. The audience were then shown a task given to the housemates ,who had to perform to old songs of Kamal. Oviya and Aarar, Harathi Ganesh and Juliana, Vaiyapuri and Namitha, Ganja Karuppu and Gayathri, Snehan and Anuya, Bharani and Raiza got to perform in teams, while Ganesh Venkatram and Shakthi Vasudevan gave solo performances.
Before ending the show, Kamal cautioned the housemates that they were being watched and that audience wanted to see their real-selves.
It now needs to be seen how the Bigg Boss housemates follow Kamal Haasan's advice.
