This time, she will be seen in yet another pivotal role alongside none other than Mammootty. The film titled, Peranbu, a Malayalam-Tamil bilingual,is directed by Ram. “It’s been the most wonderful experience working with Mammootty. I learnt so much from him. And Ram, who is my mentor, is simply brilliant and knows his craft so well. The film is a very different attempt, but I can’t say much about the story or the role.
I play Mammootty sir’s daughter and the film revolves around us,” says Sadhna. Films apart, Sadhna is also a passionate dancer. She is in the city for her Arangetram that will be held today (August 13) at Bhrathiya Vidya Bhavan Auditorium, Mylapore. Speaking about pursuing Bharatanatyam, she says, “Dance has given me another avenue to express myself creatively. It has also helped me perform and emote better as an actor. Irrespective of what I go on to pursue later in life, dance will always be an inseparable part of me.”
