Few days back it was confirmed that the Telugu cult blockbuster Arjun Reddy, will be remade in Tamil, with Chiyaan Vikram's son Dhruv playing the main role with ace director Bala helming the project.
Few days back it was confirmed that the Telugu cult blockbuster Arjun Reddy, will be remade in Tamil, with Chiyaan Vikram's son Dhruv playing the role of Vijay Devarakonda. Likewise, on Monday, it was confirmed that ace director Bala will be helming the project.
Now, according to reports across media, Shriya Sharma has been approached to play the female lead. She was a child artist who played the role of a daughter, to and in Suriya-Jyothika starred, romantic drama flick Sillunu Oru Kadhal (2006).
The Tamil remake will be bankrolled by E4 Entertainment, and is expected to go on floors by end of the year. Arjun Reddy is story of a modern Devadas - a brilliant surgeon with anger mangement issues, who later turns into an alcoholic. Shalini Pandey played the female lead in the original version and was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
