Actress Aditi Rao Hydari, who rang in her 31st birthday on Sunday, told us, “Post Kaatru Veliyidai, I am waiting for good projects to come my way in Tamil.” The actress has although done a Tamil movie Sringaram in 2006, she considers Kaatru Veliyidai to be her Tamil debut. She added, “I love working in the Tamil industry.”
She will be next seen as actor Ranveer Singh’s wife in Padmavati. She says she might be playing a small part in the upcoming period drama film, but she will leave some impact on viewers’ minds. “It’s not a major role. When I signed on for Padmavati, I knew very well it was going to be a small part. But, Sanjay Leela Bhansali sir presents all his women so well,” Aditi said.
“In Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Richa Chadha had a brief role, but she made a mark. I am sure I will create some impact in Padmavati. No one who works with Sanjay sir comes away without benefiting from the association. So, I’m open to doing good roles even if they’re small. But I don’t want to work with people who spread negative vibes,” she added. Directed by Bhansali, Padmavati features Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in lead roles.
