Grapevine has it that Vijay, who has crooned hit numbers like 'Google Google', 'Kandaangi' and 'Selfie Pulla' will be recording a song for AR Rahman.
When we contacted a source close to the actor, he said, "That is just a rumour. Vijay is busy shooting for the film as it is a Deepavali release. Rahman sir is busy as well with Thalapathy 62 and other films. So, it is an unlikely combo for this film."
Talking about the shooting schedules of the film, he said, "The Victoria Hall schedule was completed in two days after acquiring special permission from TFPC. The team doesn’t have any foreign schedules for the film. The upcoming schedules will be completely shot in Chennai."
Helmed by AR Murugadoss, Thalapathy 62 has Keerthy Suresh pairing up with the actor for the second time after Bairavaa. Actor Prem Kumar who earned appreciation for his performance in Vikram Vedha is a part of the supporting cast. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is touted to be playing the antagonist. Girish Gangadharan operates the camera while Sreekar Prasad is the editor.
