Director Arun Prabhu Purushothaman, who garnered rave reviews for his debut film, Aruvi, has signed his next. The director’s second project will be bankrolled by 24 AM Studios who has earlier produced Sivakarthikeyan’s Velaikaran and Remo. Talking to DTNext, director Arun Prabhu said, “I am happy to work RD Raja as we both are from Loyala, and had Mr Raja Nayagam sir as our mentor. That’s the reason we decided to start the film with a formal pooja at his place — Noshram, Paliankudi.” Adding more about the project, he said, “Like Aruvi, this film can’t be confined into any specific genre. It has all elements in it, and will explore something interesting. In fact, this script was supposed to my gateway to Kollywood. But it didn’t happen then.” He adds, “By June end, we will finalise the cast and other details.
