Looks like Jyotika is on a signing spree. After working on Mani Ratnam’s most-expected film, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and Radha Mohan’s Kaatrin Mozhi (the Tamil remake of Vidya Balan’s Tuhmari Sulu), the actress is all geared up to shoot her next. We hear that Jyotika will join hands with a debutant for a film, which will be produced by Dream Warrior Pictures.
Confirming the news to DTNext, producer of the film SR Prabhu says, “We are planning to begin the shoot by the first week of October, and debutant S Raj will be directing the film. It’s an engaging social drama with an interesting message. But definitely not a women-centric one as speculated.” He adds, “Major portions of the film will be shot in and around Chennai. We are yet to finalise other cast. Official announcement will be made in a month’s time.” Jyotika was last seen playing a role of a tough cop in Bala’s Naatchiyar.
