The Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy will see Vikram’s son Dhruv playing the lead role, which was played by Vijay Deverakonda in the original.
The latest is that the film will hit the screens on February 14 as a Valentine Day special. Directed by Bala, the remake went on the floors in the first week of March this year after the project was officially announced. National award-winning director Raju Murugan has penned the dialogues. The project is being bankrolled by E4 Entertainment, producers of films such as Ezra and Godha. Earlier in an interview to DTNext, Dhruv’s father actor Vikram in a light vein said, “I’m the producer of Varma as I was the one who produced Dhruv. Jokes apart, after the shoot of Varma Dhruv will be taking off to the US and will be back in Chennai at the time of the film’s release.”
