A few days ago, there were speculations that Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor is all set to make her debut in Tamil with Pink remake, produced by her father, Boney Kapoor.
While the makers themselves had denied the news, the latest is that, the actress might play the female lead in the new version of Varmaa, the Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy.
The producers of Varmaa, recently announced they have decided to hold back the film and have considered to reshoot the entire film with a new director. Sources close to the team says that E4 Entertainment have approached Jhanvi Kapoor to play the female lead. “Jhanvi Kapoor has expressed her interest to be a part of it. However, things will get finalised, only after the makers decide on other casts and crew. As of now, associate director, who worked for Arjun Reddy will helm the project.”
Dhruv, who was supposed to make his debut in Tamil with Bala’s Varmaa, will play the lead in the new version of the remake as well. Meanwhile, there are also speculations doing rounds that directors like Gautham Menon and Prem Kumar are being considered by the producers to direct the project.
