When director Sanjay Bharathi narrated the script to me, I realised that my role in Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale is on a par with others. Also, it is a light-hearted entertainer that the audience can smile at - Reba Monica John, Actor
Actress Reba Monica John, who made her debut in Tamil with Jai’s Jarugandi has been roped in to play the female lead in Harish Kalyan’s Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale. The film, a double heroine subject also has Rhea Chakraborthy playing another heroine. “However, I had no apprehensions that I will be a part of a double-heroine subject,” Reba told DT Next.
She added, “It is an author-backed script that revolves around the characters that you will see in the film. When director Sanjay Bharathi narrated the script to me, I realised that my role is on a par with others. Also, it is a light-hearted entertainer that the audience can smile at. Without thinking much, they will leave the theatres with a smile on their face.” The actress will start shooting for the film from June. “The film is being produced by Sree Gokulam Movies, the producers of several hit films in Malayalam. So, they had recommended my name to Sanjay. Sanjay too had me in his mind. The best part about my character is that it will have a blend of both suave and a girl-next-door makeover, which got me excited. Also, Harish Kalyan is a promising hero and I am looking forward to joining the unit,” she told us. The actress also has Daavu directed by Rambala. “A small portion of shoot is left to be completed and the film will be wrapped up in June,” she said.
