'Premam' is the Telugu remake of the Malayalam blockbuster of the same name.

With the 2015 released Malayalam's musical rom-com film Premam turning out to become a blockbuster hit, the Telugu remake of this film is now ready to entertain the audience with the same title.
Tollywood's top Naga Chaitanya and Shruthi Haasan have reprised the roles of Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi in this new film with Madonna Sebastian and Anupama Parameswaran continuing their part as in the original film. Other than these artists, the film has Nithiin, Chaitanya Krishna, Praveen, Prudhvi Raj among others and Akkineni Nagarjuna and Venkatesh Daggubati coming in a cameo appearance.
P.D.V.Prasad and S.Naga Vamshi of Sitara Entertainments have produced this film with the direction of Chandoo Mondeti. The director himself has penned the screenplay and the dialogue for the story written by Alphonse Putharen. Karthik Ghattamaneni has done the cinematography while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao has trimmed the film as the editor. Gopi Sunder and Rajesh Murugesan are behind the musical melodies.
Clearing the CBFC with a 'U/A' certificate, the 136 minutes run Premam will be screening along Prabhudeva starrer Abhinetri, Prakash Raj starrer Mana Oori Ramayanamam and comedian turned hero Sunil starring Edu Gold Ehe this Friday.
