The film will star Karthi in three different characters for the first time.

Apart from Dhanush starrer Kodi, actor Karthi's much anticipated Kaashmora is also hitting the screens as a Diwali feast for the fans. This film, which comes under dark fantasy genre, has been directed by Gokul of Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara fame and produced in a big budget by S.R.Prakashbabu and S.R.Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures.
With Karthi performing three roles, Nayantara and Sri Divya have played opposite the hero. Ace comedian Vivek, Sharath Lohitashwa, Madhusudhan Rao, Siddharth and Jangiri Madhumitha have done their portions in the supporting cast.
The story, screenplay and the dialogue are penned by the director himself. Cinematographer Om Prakash and editor V.J.Sabu Joseph have worked in the making of this film. Santosh Narayanan has scored the composition for the songs and the BGMs. The film (that has a mix of action and comedy) which promises to offer some surprise elements in the screenplay, is to be simultaneously released in Tamil and Telugu languages with Sri Thenandal Films and PVP Cinemas acquiring the distribution rights respectively.
Having gained a positive response for the trailer and the music album of the film, the 'U/A' certified Kaashmora is scheduled for its worldwide release on 28th of this month in nearly 1,700 theaters.
