The film marks the return of Baby Sara who was seen in Vikram's 'Deiva Thirumagal'.

Pilla Rakshasi is the new Telugu movie that is hitting the screens this Friday. The film is a remake of Ann Maria Kalippilaanu, a super hit children's film of 2016 from Malayalam industry. The original version was directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas and written by Thomas and John Manthrichal. Encouraged by the stupendous success of Bicchagadu, producer Chadalavada Padmavati is presenting this film to the Telugu audience.
"Starring Baby Sara, who shined in Vikram-starrer 'Nanna', ('Deiva Thirumagal' in Tamil), the film has gone on to become a blockbuster in Malayalam. The film narrates the story of a school-going kid (played by Sara) and what consequences follow when she meets a fraudster (played by Sunny Wayne). Aju Varghese is playing a key role, while Dulquer Salman plays a guest role", the producer says.
The movie also stars Shine Tom Chacko, Saiju Kurup, Siddique, Leona Lishoy and John Kaippallil in significant roles. Pilla Rakshasi comes as a production venture of Alice George under the banner of Goodwill Entertainments.
