Despite being a software engineer, Ashok enters the world of cinema and has produced Peechankai under his Karsa Entertainment banner in joint association with cinematographer PG Muthaiah's PG Media banner.
RS Karthi, the hero plays a pickpocket, who gets affected by the Alien Hand Syndrome after an accident and the subsequent incidents are said to be the USP in the film. Anjali, who played Simbu's sister in Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada is playing the female lead in the film which also has MS Bhaskar and Vivek Prasanna in important supporting roles. Gautham Rajendran handles the cinematography, Jomin Mathew takes care of the editing, Balamurali Balu for the music and Martin Titus has overseen the art direction.
