His career has been a significant one and Arjun's Tamil-Kannada bilingual 'Nibunan' is officially his 150th film. Bankrolled by Sudhan Sundaram under the Passion Film Factory, the film has been directed by 'Achchamundu Achamundu' fame Arun Vaidyanathan and is titled 'Vismaya' in Kannada.
Said to be an out-and-out action thriller, Nibunan, co-written by Anand Raghav has been shot to a great extent in Bangalore and the makers have gone out to state that the film is something Arjun has not attempted till date in his career.
Nibunan also has an ensemble cast featuring the likes of Prasanna, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vaibhav, Sruthi Hariharan, Suhasini, Suman, Poster Nandakumar, Uma Riyaz Khan, Sudha Rani, among others with a musical score by A. R. Rahman's former assistant S. Navin. Arvind Krishna has cranked the lens while the cuts have been provided by editor Sathish Suriya.
Scheduled to hit screens on July 28, Nibunan has been given a 'U/A' certificate by the Censor Board.
