Coming out with a 'U/A' certificate, Vivegam will see Ajith as an Interpol agent and the swashbuckling star had toiled for over 6 hours every day by hitting the gym to get in shape for the role after a series of surgeries.

Both Ajith Kumar and director Siva have teamed up for the third time in Vivegam releasing on August 24 after their previous collaborations, Veeram and Vedalam, turned out to be blockbusters at the box office.
Unlike their previous films, Vivegam is an international spy thriller and features an ensemble star cast featuring the likes of Kajal Aggarwal playing Ajith's wife along with Akshara Haasan in a vital role followed by Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi as the antagonist. National Award-winning actor Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, 'Motta' Rajendran and Appu Kutty are also in the cast and are expected to add to the humor quotient in this action-packed film.
Vivegam is said to be made at a budget of over 100 crores and is the costliest film in Ajith's career till date as a majority of filming has been canned in Bulgaria and several other hot destinations across Europe. Apart from the huge production value, the action thriller also has a solid technical team with Anirudh Ravichander for the musical score, Vetri for cinematography and Ruben for editing.
