With the date set for Siddharth's Aval to hit the screens this Friday - November 3, the horror film has already gained a lot of pre-release buzz with its dark and haunting trailer, posters, the makers promise that the film will scare the living bejeezus out of the audiences, more than the famous Hollywood horror movie, The Conjuring did, and it's promotional tags such as; "Feel the fear," "Dread the horror", "Scream with terror," and "Aval Varugiraal".
What makes Aval even more interesting is that the story is based on true events, it gets even more spooky as all these incidents has been occurred to a mutual friend of the film's actor and director! And it doesn't stop there, the film is all set out to terrorise the people in two other languages; Hindi - The House Next Door and Telugu - Gruham.
Directed by Milind Rau, the film also stars Andrea Jeremiah and seasonal actor Atul Kulkarani in pivotal roles. Girish Gopalakrishnan of Marina fame, has composed the bone chilling tunes for the movie, with Shreyaas Krishna of Jil Jung Juk fame, cranking the camera, and Lawrence Kishore providing the cuts.
Coming out with a clean 'A' certificate for its super scary content, Aval, has been bankrolled under the actor's home banners Etaki Entertainment along with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The film's Tamil Nadu theaterical rights has been bagged by Trident Arts.
