Coming out with a clean 'U' certificate by the censorship board, Vemal's 'Mannar Vagaiyara' is helmed by Boopathy Pandian. Also produced by the actor himself, this village based film is all set to hit the screens tomorrow (January 26).

Vemal's Mannar Vagaiyara is helmed by Boopathy Pandian of Thiruvilayadal Arambam fame. This village centric film stars Anandhi as the female lead, alongside veteran actor Prabhu, Jayaprakash, Saranya Ponvannan and Vamsi Krishna in important roles among others.
Initially, Sathyaraj and Soori were supposed to be part of the cast, but due to tight schedule Prabhu and Robo Shankar replaced them. Also, the film which is all set to hit the screens as per schedule tomorrow, was initially supposed to be released for Pongal. But due to lack of screens the makers had to push it to a later date.
Bankrolled by Vemal himself, he invested his entire time and was dedicated enough to not work on other projects for two years, until the film to be materialised. Certified with a "U" by the CBFC, Jakes Bejoy has taken care of the music, while PG Muthiah has been roped in to crank the camera.
