Udhayanidhi Stalin's 'Nimir', is helmed by Priyadarshan, stars debutante Namitha Pramod and Parvati Nair as the female leads. The film is based on a famous and a critically acclaimed Malayalam film Maheshinte Prathikaaram. Coming out with a clean "U" certificate fromt he CBFC, this drama flick is all slated to hit the screens tomorrow. (January 26)

According to the trailer and posters of Udhayanidhi Stalin's much awaited next Nimir, the film seems to be like a light hearted one. Helmed by ace director Priyadarshan, this comedy - drama is a remake of a Malayalam critically and commercially acclaimed film - Maheshinte Prathikaaram.
Shot entirely in Tenkasi, Priyadarshan after acquiringthe remake rights, tweaked the story to cater to the tastes of the Tamil audiences. Bankrolled by Santhosh Kuruvilla under his Moonshot Entertainment banners, Nimr also stars, debutante Namitha Pramod and Parvatii Nair in lead roles, Samuthirakani in a negative shade with, ace director Mahendran, MS Bhaskar and Karunakaran in important roles.
Darbuka Siva and B Ajaneesh Loknath has been roped in to take care of the music department, while NK Ekambaram cranking the camera and MS Ayyappan Nair providing the cuts. Passing out with a U censor certificate, Nimir is all slated to hit the screens on Tomorrow (January 26).
