The national award winning director Bala is back with another intense film - Naachiyaar. Like his previous movies, Naachiyaar is also packed with crime and action, but with a runtime of 100 minutes. And is said to be Bala's shortest film in his career.
This Jyothika and GV Prakash starrer film, portrays the former in the role of a cop for the first time. According to the teaser and trailer, Jyothika is seen in a bold avatar. Running behind culprits and pulling off some impressive stunts. Her characterisation is so fierce that the film's team ran into legal trouble when she is spotted using a Tamil cuss word in the teaser.
Though music composer turned actor GV Prakash has is kitty full of films, he is yet to deliver a movie which showcases his talents as an actor. However, he seems to have given his ultimate best in Naachiyaar as he looks completely different in the movie. It's worth mentioning that Sri of Maanagaram fame was initially supposed to essay GV Prakash's role.
