After crossing many hurdles, talented director Karthik Subbaraj's much anticipated thriller, Mercury is finally all set to hit the screens tomorrow, April 20. This 'Prabhudeva' starrer movie was initially supposed to hit the screens on April 13.

After crossing many hurdles, talented director Karthik Subbaraj's much anticipated thriller, Mercury is finally all set to hit the screens tomorrow, April 20. This Prabhudeva starrer movie was initially supposed to hit the screens on April 13. It must be noted, that the film had a grand release across the nation apart from Tamil Nadu due to the TFPC strike.
Apart from Prabhudeva, this movie also stars, Sananth Reddy, Remya Nambeesan, Deepak Paramesh and Meyadhaa Maan fame Indhuja. Mercury was promoted as a silent thriller and a no language barrier film. The team however managed to set high expectations among the viewers with its haunting trailer, and bone chilling background score.
With a runtime of 110 minutes, Mercury is bankrolled by Stone Bench Films, and has music by Santhosh Narayanan, cuts by Vivek Harshan and cinematography by S Tirru.
In addition, Mercury is considered as the first silent thriller film after two decades. The last no-dialogues movie being Kamal Haasan's 1987 release, Pushpaka Vimana.
