Hero's father (Ilavarasu) owns a roadside
tiffin shop. The hero (Senthil) is preparing for civil service exams to become
an IAS officer. In the meantime, he falls in love with his neighbour (Ishara).
Ishara introduces Senthil to her mother (Saranya) who starts liking him immediately. When she comes to know about his ambition she hesitates to accept their love stating that in no way should their love be a hindrance for him to achieve his goal. Senthil convinces her by saying that if they support him, he will be able to achieve his aim.
While the hero gets the acceptance in Ishara’s home, his father decides to marry him off to a hotel owner’s daughter so that he might acquire the hotel. Finding no other way to avoid this, Saranya unites Ishara and Saravanan in wedlock. The rest of the story is about how Saravanan manages to become successful despite of various debacles.
Senthil has done his role in a casual manner and impresses us. Good looking Ishara has performed well in duet scenes. Major portion of the movie revolves around Saranya only and she has done total justice to her role.
Vijay Ebenezer’s music is pleasing and proves his mettle. Vijay's cinematography is supportive. Cast selection shows director Govindamoorthy's efficiency.
This movie could be a motivational film to IAS aspirants.
