Jeeva (Sathya) is doing his school finals in Ooty. Karthika (Mia George) and Balaji (Ananth Nag) are his friends in class. Balaji falls in love with Karthika but he is not able to convey it to her. He is afraid to tell her as their parents are family friends.
Jeeva goes as the mediator but Karthika shocks him by saying that she is in love with him and not Karthik. The next day Jeeva also accepts her love. They both get themselves introduced to each other's parents as friends but one day the parents come to know the truth and separate them.
Then Jeeva goes to Karthika's place to meet her. There he burns her father's vehicle and talks to Karthika amidst the calamity. Her mother sees this and then Jeeva is arrested by police. After the inquiry the police sends him to a hospital for psychological treatment.
Meanwhile Karthika's family shifts to another place. They leave their new address with Balaji but he conceals it from Jeeva. After his treatment, Jeeva searches for Karthika. Whether he is able to meet her or not is the rest of the story.
Sathys is an apt fit for the role. Since the whole story revolves around him, he gets a lot of scope to show his talent and he has utilized it well. Mia as Karthika has taken a strong character and proves herself. Moreover the supporting cast has also done their job well.
Jeeva Shankar has directed the movie as well as handled the cinematography. Since most of the scenes date back to 1989, the movie seems to move in a slow pace. Ghibran's songs and the background music are a plus to the movie.
