After the incident, Chandru always roams behind Sreela. One day, he proposes to her in front of her father (Nasser). Her father gets angry at the proposal and asks Chandru to meet him in person. During their meeting, Nasser comes to know that Chandru is jobless and scolds him. Feeling bad, Chandru tries his best to get a job but in vain.
Finally with the help of a travel agent (Venkat Bose), Chandru travels to Kazakhstan and there he is put in prison for possessing drugs. Beheading is the only punishment given in Kazakhastan for drug trafficking and even Chandru gets the same verdict.
In the prison, Chandru befriends a prisoner (Thambi Ramaiah) who is being released in few days. Chandru asks him to inform his plight to folks back at home. Sreela comes to know about Chandru's plight and feels bad for him. She decides to rescue Chandru and whether she rescued him or not is the rest of the story.
Jiiva scores both in his looks and acting. Thulasi Nair enthralls us with her beautiful looks and elegant acting. Nasser, Jayaprakash and Nawab Shah have done justice to their roles. Even the other casts like Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran and Venkat Bose have done their portions well.
Cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran has given his debut as a director with a good storyline and a special applause can be given for this. Manush Nandan's cinematography is excellent and song sequences are given extra attention. Harris Jayaraj's background music is average.
