The movie 'Nee Naan Nizhal' starring Sarathkumar reveals the misuse of modern technologies like facebook which has become indispensable in the current world. In Malaysia, five murders happen continuously. All the victims are found out to be Indian men. Police officer Sarathkumar tries to find out the reason behind the murders and starts collecting the details about them. He finds out in his inquiry that all the victims had a common friend in facebook named Asha Black. Suspecting her to be the reason he comes in search of her.
Amidst this Rohith (Arjun Lal) runs a music band in the recording studio of M.S.Baskar in Coimbatore. He gets a friend request in facebook from Asha Black. Rohith accepts her friendship and starts chatting with her. As days go by, Rohith gets distracted from work due to this contact. His friends also advice him not to continue this friendship but Rohith wishes to see her face and asks Asha to send her photograph.Refusing this Asha says that they can converse through video-call. On seeing Asha, Rohith is attracted by her beauty and starts talking to her regularly. Falling in love with Asha he goes to Malaysia to meet her in person.Whether he is able to meet Asha or the police officer finds out Asha is shown in the rest of the screenplay.
Sarathkumar fits well in his character of a police officer. Though he has not been given a chance to perform a fight scene, he gets the appreciation in detective scenes and the way he shows his concern towards his child. Arjun Lal has performed like an experienced actor. Ishitha as Asha Black is very attractive in her looks and has accomplished the given part well.
Cameraman Naseer has pictured Malaysia beautifully. Jesin George's music is an added strength to this film. Director John Robinson is appreciated for his fine storyline.
