Sathya is from a middle class family. Having lost his father, he lives with his mother. Makesh helps him in many ways to continue his studies. Sindhu also lives with her widowed mother. Her mother does not like Sindhu's association with boys. Amidst this, Sathya is in love with Sindhu whereas Sindhu falls for Makesh. One day on the advice of his friends when Sathya is about to reveal his love to Sindhu he sees Makesh and Sindhu together and knows the truth.
Disappointed by this Sathya tells Sindhu the real character of Makesh and warns her that Makesh will ditch her by not marrying her. Sindhu who refuses to accept this starts hating Sathya. Meanwhile their college term comes to an end and they all separate happily. Whether Sindhu is able to know about Makesh or Sathya and Sindhu are able to unite in their life is shown in the rest of the screenplay.
Naveen needs to improve his acting and dance moves. Even while playing drums his body language is not up to the mark. Udhay has done his part well while Vaijayanthi is not that impressive. Manobala's comedy is not very effective either. Anand Babu has given a very good dance performance in his own style after a long gap.
Director Jayakumar is not able to utilize senior artists such as Radha Ravi, T.B.Gajendran and Madhan Bob much. The storyline is not clear and so the director has included many unnecessary scenes to the movie. Dina's music and Sukumar's cinematography could have been better.
