Joe Malloori and G.M.Kumar are the heads in Appuchi Gramam. Their father has two wives. Even then he leads a peaceful life by giving equal status to his better halves but his sons are always having tiffs. After their father's death, the conflict between them increases and as a result of their antagonism the village is left without a deity and this makes the people so upset.
Praveen Kumar who lives there is in love with Joe Malloori's relative Anusha. Likewise Joe Malloori's daughter Swasika loves their car driver Vishnu Murali. Amidst this, Kitty finds out that there will be a meteorite fall within seven days which will cause mass destruction.
On seeing this news in their television, the village people become frightened and the next day they visualize a meteor falling in their place. Scared by this incident, they start believing that their village will be destroyed soon. The government sends transport to help the people to evacuate their village. At this time the village heads unite together and get ready to face the disaster by staying there itself.
Director Vi Anandh has taken a natural threat and the life of six people involved together as the plot of the story and succeeded in picturising it interestingly. Joe Malloori and G.M.Kumar have justified their portions by their experienced acting. Nassar and Kitty has very less important roles but have done it well.
Songs and the background music is average in Vishal's music. G.K.Prasad's camera work can be appreciated.
