Krishna is in love with Sunaina, sister of Madhusudhan. When Madhusudhan comes to know about this he warns Krishna but Krishna does not pay heed. Angered to see this, Madhusudhan tries to punish Krishna while the friends are together. In that clash, Vijay Sethupathi happens to kill Madhusudhan. He feels very bad about this. Meanwhile his friendship with Krishna is put in strain due to some difference of opinion.
When Subramaniyapuram Raja tries to avenge Madhusudhan's family, Vijay Sethupathi prevents the attack. He decides to guard the family as a remedy for his mistake. At the same time, taking advantage of the dispute, Raja plans to destroy Madhusudhan's family using Krishna.
Vijay Sethupathi has portrayed his character in an excellent manner. Being his first action film, he proves his talents. Krishna as Chelladurai gives a regular performance. Sunaina is seen in the screens after a long gap but fails to impress.
Director Jai Krishna has given importance to friendship in his storyline. Though it was little dragging in the first half, the director has done it interestingly in the next part.
Songs are ordinary in Thaman's music and background music could have been given extra care. Bala Barani's camera work is enjoyable.
