Even after marriage Soori stays with his in-laws and so they belittle him. Deciding to stand on his own, he borrows 15 lakhs from a money lender (John Vijay) and buys land through a broker (Vaiyapuri). After that he makes arrangements to sell the land as plots. His friend (Vikram Prabhu) is also helpful in this real estate business.
One day a big business man (Madhan Bob) comes to buy their land. When the talks get over and the agreement takes place, they come to know that it is a burial ground and they have been cheated by the broker. Feeling sad they consume liquor along with their friends.
During that time, John Vijay's gang take them to their place as they haven’t repaid the borrowed amount. Vikram Prabhu saves John Vijay from a gang who come there to kill him. So he appoints Vikram Prabhu as a supervisor. Vikram Prabhu meets Sridivya and falls in love with her.
In this situation, John Vijay's marriage preparations get started. Soori and Vikram Prabhu are entrusted to look after the marriage arrangements and they oblige happily. On the day of the marriage Vikram Prabhu is shocked to see Sridivya as the bride. Then only he comes to know that even Sridivya is unable to pay back the borrowed money and was working there. Whether he is able to save her
from this plight or not is the rest of the story.
Vikram Prabhu has acted in a full length comedy movie for the first time and scores in his acting. Soori and John Vijay have done their portions well. Sridivya suits the role and attracts the audience by her facial expressions.
Director Ezhil has given the usual comedy masala and it has come out well. He gets a special appreciation for making an enjoyable family movie. Songs are super in D.Imman's music. Even the background music is good. Suraj Nallusamy's camera has pictured the village very beautifully and the song sequences are very effective.
