Hero Hari and heroine Mansi study in the same college and they are in love with each other. Mansi is from a rich family. So when her parents come to know about their love her father objects but her mother is supportive. Mansi's father decides to get his daughter married to another person. Knowing this Mansi and her lover run away from their place with the help of her mother.
They miss their bus on the way. Since it is midnight they reach the nearby town and ask for refuge to Vidiyal Raju. Vidiyal Raju who is a rich person acts like a good natured person and helps the couple.
There is a view prevailing that the lovers in the town commit suicide but the police suspect the suicides to be murders and are in search of proper evidence.
Raju makes the pair stay in his guest house. One day Hari goes to Raju's house. There he finds out that Raju is watching the happenings in the guest house through video recording. Moreover he confirms that Raju is behind all the murders of the lovers. He leaves the place with Mansi.
Meanwhile Mansi's father comes to Vidiyal Raju's place in search of his daughter. The police also find out the evidence for the murders and plan for an encounter on Raju. What happens after this is seen in the rest of the screenplay.
Both the hero and the heroine are new to acting and so their performances are just in the average range. Hari finds it very difficult to express appropriate facial reactions. Vidiyal Raju has played a negative role but could not make it very effective. The other cast have done the given portions.
Director Vijayabalan has taken a regular story and it reflects many of the old films. Even the choice of the actors is not appreciable.
Songs are okay in Selvadasan's music and cinematography should have been given more care by Selva.
