Deva, Charan and Darshitha study in the same college. Deva is from a rich family and he takes care of the educational expenses of Charan and Darshitha. He falls in love with Darshitha and tries to convey his feelings through Charan. Darshitha accepts his love and they both start loving each other.
After completing the course, Deva's parents make him marry his aunt's daughter Sahana under compulsion and make them stay in their Kodaikanal bungalow. Charan looks after Deva's estate there.
Deva does not show any interest on his wife and always keeps thinking about Darshitha. Sahana keeps trying to change his mind. One day when Sahana happens to go to an old bungalow behind their place she sees a scary figure there. Even after coming back to their bungalow the scary figure threatens Sahana.
Meanwhile, police investigate about a business man from Theni who goes missing in Kodaikanal. In this situation, Sahana becomes pregnant and the family is happy about it but Deva feels he is not the reason for it. What happens after that and the reason behind the happenings are shown in the rest of the story.
Deva has tried to act but he is not suitable for the character. Charan has been given equal importance as a hero and he has done his part well. Darshitha and Sahana have less scope to act and Darshitha tries to attract the audience by her looks.
Director Vincent Jayaraj has taken a horror story without logic or interesting sequences. The screenplay is not clear. Songs are okay in Sunil Xavier's composition and the background music could have been given more attention. Jayabalan's cinematography is excellent in few scenes.
