Anchor turned actor Siva Karthikeyan has joined hands with director RS Durai Senthilkumar and producer Dhanush for the second time following the success of ‘Ethir Neechal’.
The crew itself was a reason behind the huge anticipation about the movie and initial reports say that they have managed to repeat the winning formula in ‘Kaaki Sattai’ as well.
Siva Karthikeyan plays Mathimaran, a constable who is new to the service. The young man has an urge to become an inspector and do something good for the society but soon realizes that his desire is hard to accomplish.
He gets shocked and disgusted by the way his senior officials handle criminal cases and he takes sincere efforts to put an end to corruption in the law and order system.

When the police are on their way to the court, the gang leader (Vijay Raaz) blasts the van. Prabu and the other culprits are killed in this accident but Sivakarthikeyan escapes from being killed. What happens next, did Siva manage to seize the culprits in spite of pressure from his senior officials is narrated in the rest of the story.
