Hero Avithej distributes newspaper in an apartment at Chennai. He becomes friends with two other youngsters whose fathers are the apartment’s watchman and ironer. Heroine Supurna also stays in the same apartment.
In this situation, a gang which sells drugs comes to stay in the apartment. As soon as the gang enters the apartment Avithej and his friends clash with the group which is headed by Sai Prasad.
One day, a problem arises between the drug sellers’ gang and during that time the apartment’s watchman asks Sai Prasad to move his vehicle. Irked by this, Sai Prasad beats the watchman. The watchman gets hurt in this incident and gets admitted in the hospital.
The watchman’s son collects money from apartment residents for his father’s medical expenses and he comes to know that Sai Prasad has hit his father.
He plans to take revenge on Sai Prasad along with his friends and they come to know that Sai Prasad is having a huge sum of money. The friends plan to loot the money and use it for the watchman’s medical expenses.
Meanwhile, a money-minded police officer who stays in the same apartment follows Avithej and his friends to grab the money from them. What happened next has been shown in the rest of the screenplay.
Avithej’s screen presence is good but he could have performed better. Artists who have played the role of hero’s friends have done a decent job and Sai Prasad who has acted as the villain steals the show with his casual acting. Manoharan who has played the police officer has done his portions well.
Heroine Supurna has been given only few scenes but the actress manages to impress audience with her looks.
The director has tried his best to deliver a different script with interesting twists. The scenes in which the youngsters try to steal the money are funny.
The film has only two songs in Sameer-Shiva’s music and the background music is very impressive. Balaji’s cinematography is not up to the mark
