Bobby Simha wants to prove himself in the cine field as an unique story writer but his insufficient income becomes a hindrance to him. Prabanjayan works in a private firm. Linga is a flirt and works as an assistant director.
Once when Lingaa goes to his village he meets the heroine. She is a divorcee and Linga develops a soft corner towards her. When the heroine comes to Chennai to write her examination she becomes pregnant due to her affair with Linga. This issue creates a difference of opinion between them and on knowing this Prabanjayan tries to reunite them. What happens after this and whether Bobby Simha was able to attain his goal have been narrated in the rest of the story.
Bobby Simha has played a lead role in the flick. He looks smart onscreen but could have performed better. Linga's behaviour is funny. Heroines Panimalar and Neesha are good looking and all the other support actors have done their part well.
Director Maruthupandian has narrated the life style and the problems faced by youngsters who come to Chennai in search of jobs in an interesting manner. The movie’s length could have been shortened to make it more exciting. Vinoth Rathnasami's cinematography is not up to the mark. Songs and the background music of Camlin and Raja could have been much better.
