Jesmitha migrates from Chennai to Mumbai and joins a college there. Ganesh is a third year student in the same college. Having lost his parents at an early age, he stays with his grandmother. Ganesh falls in love with Jesmitha and tries to express his feelings to her.
Ganesh gets into a brawl with a politician’s son who spreads obscene images of Jesmitha. Even though Jesmitha knows the intention, she refuses to accept him. As time goes by, she realises her feelings for Ganesh but is also afraid about the shadows of her past. Jesmitha feels that she will be betraying Ganesh by not telling about her past. Whether the duo manages to look past it or not is the rest of the story.
Ganesh has tried to bring out his best in his given role. Jesmitha has done a dual characterisation and has done well. The storyline is not impressive and fails to create an impact.
Director S.R.Balakrishnan has taken a strong story that lacks continuity in the screenplay. He could have took care in artist selection. Saravanan, Vijayan camera works are not clear. Songs and background music are average.
