Senguttuvan does many good deeds in his town through a welfare club which is run by his friends. His parents, Naren and Sharmila, are very affectionate towards him and pampers him.
Once he meets Akshaya in the temple and falls for her. He comes to know that she is his childhood friend and wants to convey this to her. Ironically, she remembers only his nickname and mistakes him for a thief.
Later on Senguttuvan informs about his love to his father. On seeing Akshaya, Naren refuses to accept her as his daughter-in-law. Whether Senguttuvan succeeds in his love or not is the rest of the story.
Debutant Senguttuvan has done a decent job. Akshaya scores in acting along with Naren and Sharmila.
After a long break, director Radhabarathi has done this movie and it looks average. The story itself is not with current trend and the choice of artists is not up to the mark. Songs are peppy in Srikanth's music and Selva's cinematography is average.
