Two young boys living in a slum of Chennai with their mother and grandmother get a free television set. While watching TV programmes the kids happen to see a pizza advertisement featuring Simbu. After watching the ad, the kids yearn to taste a pizza and the movie narrates the efforts they take to earn 300 Rs to eat the pizza.
The entire story revolves around the siblings and the kids have performed in the realistic way possible. Even the other children have done a remarkable job.
Aishwarya Rajesh has excelled in her character picturization and this movie is expected to give her a huge break in the film industry. Joe Malluri who had done very strong characters so far has exhibited subtle emotions with the children.
Likewise, ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ Ramesh and Yogi Babu have also done justice to their roles.
Debutant director Manikandan has registered his talent in his very first film itself. The movie is receiving many awards in various international film festivals and the filmmaker has garnered good recognition in Kollywood.
