Ganesh Venkatram is a straight forward police officer and his mother Rekha insists him to get married soon. Though he is not interested, he accepts to marry Poonam Kaur for his mother’s sake. Poonam is in love with Simon but since her father is against love she is not able to reveal the truth.
On the date of her marriage, the lovers elope and Rekha shoots herself to death. Ganesh wants to take revenge for his mother's death and goes in search of the pair. Whether he avenges his mother’s death or not is the rest of the story.
Ganesh Venkatram has perfect looks for a police officer and has performed the psycho killer role well but he needs to improve his dancing. Poonam Kaur has glam looks but should improve her acting skills. The senior artists have done their roles well.
Director Mohan Krishna has handled a crime story in a matured way. The movie could have created a better impact if he had concentrated more in the screenplay. Srikanth's music works are excellent both in songs and BGM. Pratap's camera has pictured Kodaikanal beautifully and the cinematographer gets a special mention for the subtle night effect scenes.
