Vivek and Sonia Agarwal are married couple and they have two children. They both work in the same company and run the family within their budget. After resigning, Vivek is not able to find a suitable job and he comes to know that adopting a old lady from an old age home will fetch him Rs.25, 000 per month. In order to get more money than Sonia’s salary, Vivek adopts ‘Chemeen’ Sheela and takes utmost care of her.
Sonia is irked by Vivek’s behavior and the increased monthly expenses create disputes between the couple. Sonia urges Vivek to leave Sheela in some other place and Vivek is reluctant to do so as he is very affectionate towards the old lady. What happens next and how Vivek manages to put an end to this issue has been narrated in the rest of the story.
