A gangster named Nellai Stephan who lives near Tamilnadu-Kerala border is murdered by his counterpart Kasinathan and so Stephen's brother Udumbu Joseph plans to take revenge. Amidst this, Hari who is jobless tries to become friends with Kasinathan.

Once Hari hears about a discussion regarding Kasinathan’s wedding and begins to search for a suitable girl. Finally he freezes Bagya who comes from Kerala to work here and prepares for the engagement. When Bagya’s father, Thalaivasal Vijay, comes to know about Kasinathan, he refuses the proposal.

Furious about this insult, Kasinathan challenges Vijay that he will marry Bagya by all means. Whether he succeeds in doing so or not  is narrated in the rest of the screenplay.

Sanjeev Murali who has played the role of Hari is very casual in his acting. Sriraksha is expressive and has done her role well. Sagar, 'Naan Kadavul' Rajendran and Thalaivasal Vijay have done justice to their roles.

Director Santhosh Gopal has taken unwanted friendship  as the theme but fails to keep the plot interesting. Songs are okay in Suman's music but the composer could have given more attention to the BGM. Ayyappan's camera works are enjoyable in few shots.
