Written and directed by debutant filmmaker Adhik Ravichandran, the film achieves success in grabbing younger crowd to the theatres. ‘Trisha Ilana Nayanthara’, which has been released amidst huge hype, depicts the happenings in the inconsistent love life of three youngsters.
GV Prakash. Anandhi and Manisha Yadav share same birthdays and birth time. They live in different flats in the same apartment and end up becoming friends for obvious reasons.
During their 12th grade, Manisha shifts to a different place and this increase the closeness between GV Prakash and Anandhi. Both of them start loving each other and after a while they break up due to certain misunderstanding situations.
Meanwhile, Manisha proposes GV and he starts his second innings with Manisha. After few days, Manish gets annoyed by GV’s behavior and starts to stay away from him.
Devastated by his love failures, GV Prakash leaves to his relative VTV Ganesh’s place at Kumbakonam, where he meets Anandhi again.
The rest of the screenplay reveals whether GV Prakash succeeded in his love.

Musician/actor GV Prakash has improvised his acting skills and the youngster has also done a good job in romantic and song sequences.
Anandhi and Manisha Yadav have done justice to their roles and the pretty women impress spectators with their looks and performance.
Simran and VTV Ganesh have excelled in their roles adhering to the feel of the story.
GV Prakash’s music is one of the huge strengths of the film. Yuvan’s ‘Mutham Kudutha’ and ‘Bittu Padamdi’ songs are celebrated by youngsters in the huge screens.
Richard’s cinematography is excellent and the visuals are very convincing.
Though the fun-filled flick lacks considerable count of family audience, it has succeeded in garnering huge crowd of youngsters to the big screens.
