‘Unakkenna Venum Sollu’ is a watchable horror film with a very unique script treatment. The flick opens with a dreadful scene of a young woman slitting her throat and the reason behind each and every occurrence are gradually unveiled.
The lead roles played by debutants Deepak and Jaqulin are realistic and the newcomers have done justice to their characterizations. A young girl named Anu has played a vital role and all the other cast have also done their portions well.
Unlike other horror films, ‘Unakkenna Venum Sollu’ lacks spookiness but compensates it with a good count of emotionally driven scenes.
Filmmaker Srinath Ramalingam has done a good work and his very first film has received good response for its unique content and making.
Sivasaravanan’s music and Manish Moorthy’s cinematography are commendable and the technical aspects of the film are good as well.
