Mithun and Adhavan work in an IT company in Chennai along with their close friends. Mithun is disinterested in marriage but his mother travels to Nagercoil to look for a prospective bride.
Mithun's friends also travel to Nagercoil for a wedding and Mithun is destiny-bound to meet the heroine, Mridula Murali,in the railway station and falls in love.
He hops into the train and tries to woo her. Is he able to convince her ? How does her big bad brother react to the whole episode is 'Chikkiku Sikkikichu'.
Mithun walks away with a stellar performance as the quintessential romantic hero and Mridula matches him frame by frame giving us an extremely well acted rom-com. Adhavan's timing with the witty lines could not have been better. Anoop Aravind as the villain has done a decent job as well.
The core of the movie is a 12 hour train journey and kudos to director Rajeshkumar for keeping us engaged through an astute screenplay. Terrific attention to costume continuity is definitely appreciable.
Vijay Benjamin's songs are average but the BGM is a real bonus to the movie. S.S.Rajeshkumar's cinematography has ensured that the audience don't get bored with the same location.
Chikkiku Sikkikichu is a neatly executed simple rom-com.
