The director and writer, Siva, has done a splendid job on giving a movie that has all the elements for a mass appeal. The screen play is done well and the scenes progress in a steady state.
Ajith gives his best on screen and it is obvious for us to see. Shruti Haasan's role seems to be of a supportive aspect rather than a pivotal one. On the other hand, Lakshmi Menon's character is very vital as the story revolves around her throughout the movie. Soori, Mayilsami, Thambi Ramaiah and Kovai Sarala have done justice to their roles.
Anirudh seems to be on a roll as the music sets the tone of this movie as well. The BGM seems to be very apt for most scenes and the entire crowd dances for ‘Aaluma Doluma’ song. Vetri’s cinematography is a huge plus for the movie.
