Eetti is about a hurdler who comes across various trials before a national meet. Atharva who is aspiring to become a police officer through sports quota is working towards his goal with the help of his father who is also a cop.
Atharva gets connected with Sridivya through a wrong call and eventually their friendship turns into love. Meanwhile Sridivya’s brother faces some trouble with some baddies who are involved in counterfeit currency production. So the rest of the movie is about how Atharvaa gets mixed up in the mess and what he does to redeem himself.
Atharvaa has scored with his natural acting and well-toned physique. The actor’s job is commendable and he comes across as a loving son effortlessly. Sridivya is cute on screen and has good chemistry with Atharvaa. Jayaprakash, Adukalam Naren have done the given roles convincingly.
Though the movie is sports-based, director Ravi Arasu has added a different dimension to it and it can be appreciated. The script is well-planned but sometimes seems to have quite a lot of coincidences. The director could have looked upon the placement of songs as well.
Songs as well as BGM sound good in GV Prakash’s music. Saravanan Abhimanyu’s cinematography is a definite plus to the movie.
