Bajirao Mastani is full of the promised opulence and drama of the earlier era. Bajrao is a successful warrior chief of the Maratha regime. Warrior princess Mastani seeks his help in defending her region from invaders. Initially Bajirao denies the request but later on he is impressed by her fighting skills and obliges.
During the war Mastani saves Bajirao from an accident and this act marks a turning point in their relationship. They win the battle and Bajirao returns to his land.

Ranveer Singh shines on screen and sometimes comes across as an eye-candy as well. His performance has improved greatly and he definitely commands attention.
Priyanka Chopra as Kashi has given an amazing performance and speaks volumes with her emotions. She has rightly portrayed the feelings of a woman who yearns for the husband’s attention.Deepika Padukone’s chemistry with Ranveer adds up to the script. She sizzles during her fight sequences and is a pleasure to watch on screen.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali who is known for his grandeur on screen has stuck to the notion in this movie as well. He could have added more depth to the story though. The overall sound score is very impressive in the movie.
