One should watch out this suspense thriller for Nikesha Patel’s performance. The actress has pulled off her role with ease even in glamorous scenes. Iniya has played a completely different role than usual. The beautiful actress has done her part well and her performance in the climax scene is praise-worthy. Yesteryear diva Simran's cameo role is the main highlight of the film. Though the actress appears for a lesser time on screen, her unexpected appearance receives immense applause. The actress who dons an action avatar in the movie has delivered a powerful performance which equals to that of a hero. The actress has truly proved her expertise in handling stunts with her role of an investigating officer. Ganesh and Vashista has done justice to their roles.
Directed by Jagadish Kumar, this crime thriller is different from other movies in this genre. The director has tactfully made the first half as glamourous as possible and the second half as a thriller. However, the second half of the film happens to be more interesting than the former.
Sujith Shetty's music is good but background music could have been better. Camera cranked by Jay Anand has enhanced the mood of the film. On the whole, Karaiyoram is an average crime thriller.
