On the other side, Aishwarya's father is a successful industrialist. At an award function, he meets Jai who is also a businessman and thinks he will be perfect for his daughter. But, Aishwarya wants to know more about him than what meets the eye. So, they two head out to Kodaikanal. The pact is that they will leave their wallet and mobile phones and see how they could survive together for two days. Jai impresses her by being a simple person who can actually make a living even without being dependent on money and materialistic pleasures. So, she agrees to get married to him.
After the flashback, when everything seems to be going right, challenging times take over. Catherine is shocked when she sees Aishwarya with Nani. Then, she finds out that her boyfriend has died in a car crash. Now, she tries to get to the bottom of mystery to find out if Nani is two-timing her or if they both are the same person forms the crux of Nani's Gentleman.
P.G. Vinda’s cinematography matches well with the theme of the film. Mani Sharma’s music is refreshing. Vennela Kishore provides the much needed comic relief. Nani has done his part extremely well. Their innocent love story in the first half is enjoyable and the second half takes you to the thriller mode. It has a heady mix of romance, action and comedy, which makes way for a good commercial entertainer.
