Debutante Arvi, Alisha Chopra, Shaalu starring Ennama Kathavuduranunga has been directed by Francis Raj and produced by Alex Creations.
Hero Arvi works in a private television channel. He develops a new device to talk with the ghosts and communicates with them through this. Heroine Alisha also works in the same TV channel and anchors all the programmes that are arranged by Arvi.
Ravi Maria is a leading business man and he is constructing a huge building with a big estimate. Knowing that a ghost is wandering in that site, Arvi goes there and talks to the ghost through his device. The ghost, then, complaints to the hero that the place is a graveyard and Ravi Maria has encroached their living area.
When Arvi telecasts this in their channel, he collides with the bad side of Ravi Maria. After this incident, Arvi gets an invitation to find out a ghost which is behind the murders of the people living in Kottaimedu village.
When Arvi goes to the village, he meets Sowmya, the other heroine of this film. Both of them fall for each other and develop their love relationship. Mean while, Arvi finds out that there is no ghost in that village but the public, who are sure about the presence of the ghost, instructs him to leave the place after proving their belief. What happens after that and whether Arvi can prove his findings form the crux of the story.
Actor/producer Arvi has performed this character in an exaggerated manner. Though the dialogue seem to be catchy, the dialogue delivery of Arvi plays the spoilsport. Other than the hero, no one else has been given importance in this film. Sams comedy is enjoyable but becomes boring with the prolonged talks. Ravi Maria gives an impressive performance as comedy villain.
The story knot shows the ghosts as friendly characters but the choice of the cast fails to make it impressive. The camera works of Sivabaskar can be rated average. Ravi Vijayanand's music is appreciable with the songs and the back ground music also supports the story line.
